These terms will govern your access to and use of Format.Chat its content, services offered, and any functions
thereof. These terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and us.
Guests
Guests are subjected to the full terms of use when accessing our website. We allow guests to publish their
discord chat messages at no cost. However, as a guest, your content will only be accessible for ninety(90) days;
we may delete the content at any time without due notice to you.
As a guest, you cannot delete or manage the content yourself, and you are required to contact support to do so.
We highly suggest you signup for an account to take full advantage of our services.
Account Holders
When you signup for an account, you automatically agree to our Privacy Policy. For your account to be created,
we require specific information to do so. You are still free to use and access our website without an account;
however, we highly suggest you create an account to take full advantage of our services.
By creating an account, you agree that:
- We reserve the right to terminate your account at any given time without notice.
- The information you provide is arcuate and true. False information will result in the
termination of your account and deletion of your content.
- You will be held responsible for the content you upload.
- Your account security is your responsibility, and you are not allowed to share your
account with another person, entity. In the event your security is compromised, we may suspend your account
pending your response or terminate the account entirely.
User Content
Format.chat allows you to upload your discord conversations in an organized layout and enables your discord
conversations to be viewed with a "shareable link."
By using our platform, you agree to the following:
- You will not upload any unlawful content.
- You will not upload any sensitive content such as lude images, lude discussions, or any
content which would be considered insensitive and violates another person's right to
dignity, privacy, and respect.
- You understand that people may view these conversations with the shareable link.
- We may remove the content at any given time for any given reason without notice to
you.
Indemnification and Limited Liability.
As guests or users, you will indemnify, defend and hold us harmless against any expenses, third party claims,
suit, action or proceedings brought against us (our directors, employees, agents or service providers or
affiliates) by a third party or by yourself for the content you have uploaded, the use of the site or any other
means.
We only facilitate the platform for use and do not publish the content ourselves, accept it, or take
responsibility for the content. The user and or guests that upload the content are to be held responsible for
the consequences thereof.
Furthermore, you, as the guest or user, will hold us harmless against any claims.
Termination of Services.
We may terminate our services at any given time without notice and without reasons to do so. You may stop using
our services at any given time for any given reason without notice to us.
General Provisions.
- Severability. If any part of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to
applicable law including without limitation the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth
above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision
that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of this Agreement shall
continue in effect.
- Applicable Law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the
Commonwealth of Australia, without reference to conflicts of law principles. Both parties hereby consent to
the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in the province of Western Australia in all disputes arising
out of or relating to the use of our Service. Use of our Service is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does
not give effect to all provisions of this Agreement, including without limitation this paragraph.
- Entire Agreement. Unless otherwise expressly stated herein, this Agreement constitutes the entire agreement
between you and us.
- Appointment / Assignment. You may not appoint or assign the rights and obligations set out herein to another
person or entity without written approval.
- By using our Services, it does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights of our services or
the content uploaded. You may not claim ownership of content not uploaded by yourself; to do so, you must
contact our support team.
- Where another has uploaded content you wish to have removed, you must contact support to do so.
